I have taken pictures of every description for over 50 years. I started my career at the age for 17, working for the Ottawa citizen, through the Photo Company of Bill and Jean Newton & Assoc. Photo assignments on any given 14 hour day could include a wedding, accident, sporting event, funerals, fashion, nudes, fires and anything else the editor requested.

I have spent the last 30 years in the retail business here in Deep River and I am a strong supporter of this beautiful community and the surrounding area. I have served as chair or member of the Deep River minor Hockey, Deep River Boy Scouts, Town Council, Deep River and District Hospital Board, Candu Swim Club, Royal Canadian Legion, Deep River Red Cross and the Chamber of Commerce. I am presently on the board of the Deep River Community Foundations and the Deep River Police Services Board.
