Katelynn Clarey, originally from Northumberland County, is an artist living and drawing in Chalk River, ON.
She fell in love with art at age 11 when she began to take art lessons with a local instructor. After 6 years of lessons, it was clear to Katelynn that art would continue to be a central part of her life.
She decided to attend Lakehead University where she obtained her Honours Bachelor of Fine Arts and Bachelor of Education.
After graduating in 2011, Katelynn spent several years travelling across Canada and Europe, planting trees and absorbing the beauty of the land.
Katelynn's artwork is a reflection of the vast wilderness surrounding her. Using mostly ink and watercolors, Katelynn explores natures poetic and rhythmic habits and shares her interpretation of the land through her artwork.
