From her studio in Deep River, Ontario, Lynn Dunn produces
functional stoneware and porecelain pottery for all areas
of the home.
She has been a full time potter since 1988, first taking
lessons at the Deep River Potters' Guild. She continued the
learning process through workshops and ceramic courses, which
allowed her to connect with other potters and evolve with
her clay.
Making pots that people use in their everyday lives is important
to Lynn. It connects her to the person who uses her pottery
and connects them both to the earth and fire from which the
pots evolved. In her craft, Lynn has truly found her "bliss."
In 2011, Canada's Governor General, David Johnson, and his wife Sharon were forturnate to receive a piece of Lynn's blueberry pottery.
